08    Rijeka School of Architecture

This studio project is a school of architecture located in Rijeka, focusing on the renewal of Hotel Panorama. My studio partner, Chris, and I were interested in the existing terracing of the site and how the building integrated with the outdoor space. This served as our central concept, as the terracing allowed for outdoor access at every level, helped maintain the wonderful views captured by the existing building, and resolved the issue of access that the sloped site presented.
